Ordinarily, I would be working from home today, but I have meetings for which I need to be physically present. One’s going to be fun, the other…not so much. But they can’t all be gigglefests.

My alarm clock cooperated this morning. My outfit is one I like, although the skirt needs to be taken in a bit. My hair…well, my hair should have stayed home. The number of times I give up and put my hair in a ponytail is conversely linked to the length of time since my last hair appointment. If I start off the week that way, it’s a bad sign.

This weekend, I cracked open the first DVD in my complete series set of Jeeves & Wooster. If you want to see a young Hugh Laurie behaving absolutely apoplectically (and singing 47 Ginger-headed Sailors), you must see this typical Brit comedy show. It’s straight from the P.G. Wodehouse, of course, and does the original full justice. Comedic genius, if you like overdone examples of the idle rich of historical Britain.
