This is why Catholic priests never go off script, by the way. It’s too easy to channel Chris Farley when (not if) you slip up.

I do hope everyone had a nice weekend. I’m not positive we had one here. Have you ever taken steps to avoid getting sick that last longer than the flu? I know there’s at least one cold, plus pinkeye, in my office, so I’ve been taking it easy and trying to get extra rest. But then I get used to having all the rest, and my body’s kind of okay with it. Which means that, at 4:30, I might need to have a little lie-down so I won’t go to bed tired.

This is so not me.

This weekend’s gourmet efforts included grilled cheese, roasted potatoes, and some over-medium eggs. I admit it–I’m off my game. But we’ve been a little off, digestion-wise, so bland food has been a good thing.
