Another glimpse

Just a blog I got caught up in recently…
Read it:
If you want to laugh
If you don’t mind crying
If you want to see what “making it up as you go along and doing pretty damn well” looks like
If you think robots are cool
If you like baby photography
If you’re moved by crazy-happy love stories
Do not read it:
If you have definite opinions on what a family should look like or be
If you think I swear too much — he’s even more liberal with the f-bombs
If you think dads can’t — or shouldn’t — do it alone (although he’s smart enough to take help)
I had a range of emotions, reading this.
There was head-nodding about death and loss. There was heart-aching over the love story cut short. There was grinning over the adorable 1-year-old kid and the expressions on her face (and also her clothes, which look fun and good for playing).
Mostly, he made me think of my friend, a new dad to a baby girl with two awesome parents. Reading this blog, I felt like the writer and my new-dad friend would get along great. Like they should have beers.
(I don’t know anyone who doesn’t get along with new-dad friend, though. He’s That Guy.)
So love his blog. So beautifully tragic or tragically beautiful. Not sure which but it just sucks you in and won’t let go.
OMG tears.
