Postsecret.com has been an important site for me over the years. It serves two real purposes — it appeals to the basic voyeuristic spirit of people (woohoo! secrets!), and, by giving everyone a glimpse into others’ lives, it makes them feel a little less alone in their private sorrows and dreams.
