Words or parts of words that have plagued my poor brain this week:

• charcuterie
• diminish
• -Week (I continue to refer to an event premiering this year using only the the first part of its name, which is a name on its own, and it confuses the crap out of everybody)
• all synonyms for anticipate

All words I know, yet they elude me. I think of this as editor’s block, as opposed to writer’s block. If this keeps up, my reputation as a walking thesaurus is doomed.

Yes, that concerns me. You have no idea how often people call me because they can’t think of a word. One of these days, one of them will be writing about a charming little plate of meat and cheese and I will be of no help to them at all.
