Hello! Happy Epiphany!

I feel like this post should be weighty and meaningful — after all, I’ve actually shelled out for a domain this time around. And this is my new playground for web tricks and trends, my visible commitment to a career in electronic communications. This is not the practice blog or the default blog in an online community. This time, I think, it counts.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of deep thoughts to convey today. I’ve finished the first New Yorker of the year, I’ve done the grocery shopping and the cleaning that I needed to do today, and I’ve started packing my car with the latest Goodwill load. I’ve celebrated (with a smile) the NY Giants’ playoff win. All that’s left is to pull out Bertha (my fabulous cast-iron pan that weighs more than anything I’ve ever cooked in it), salt some tuna steaks, and get dinner started. With the tuna, we’ll have sweet white corn and roasted grape tomatoes.

As soon as I learn how to roast the tomatoes…
