Scene: Georgetown University Hospital, physicians’ offices, Gorman Building…at the elevator.
Dude #1 pushes the up button. I push the down.
Elevator stops, but neither up nor down is indicated.
“Go for it, ” I say, motioning to Dude #1. He was there first, after all.
“That’s what she said on prom night!” he cheerfully replies, entering the elevator.
…
Blink. Blink blink.
Funny +2 for saying it to a couple that attended a prom together.
